Easter is around the corner and I have just come to the realisation that I have somehow managed to get through a quarter of the year without any Easter eggs or hot cross buns of the chocolate variety. (Shocking, by my standards anyway - got to get me some before Sunday!) Melbourne has been giving us glimpses of the last, lingering bits of summer, which might have at some level inspired this outfit. A little imagination and I could very well be a homey farmer's wife with plans to cook up a hearty spag bol for the evening. I found this blouse in the depths of my mother's closet, complete with sewn-in '80s style mini shoulder pads and the cheeriest of yellow sunflowers!
