SABA top and skirt, Minkpink sunnies, Charles & Keith sandals, straw bag
My love for SABA has grown ever since I noticed this slinky black dress a few months ago. It used to be a store too 'sophisticated and mature' for me, but perhaps that was just a misconception. Or that I just grew up. In any case I am in love with this simple black and white outfit - the subtle detail in the cut-in back, thin straps, and deliciously perfect twisted draping of the skirt! It probably naturally tended towards a classy, dressed-up look with heels and a glittery clutch but with a (very) limited summer travel wardrobe I was determined to make it daytime-appropriate. Paired with these sandals that I currently wear just about anywhere and everywhere and a simple straw tote, it was such relaxed dressing I almost felt like I was wandering around a tropical paradise instead of a densely populated Orchard Road. Almost.

pleasure, thanks for stopping by lauren! SABA do have some pretty cool stuff if you look past their 'work clothes' - one of my fave stores now :) x
